Rough Idling

Hi I am just new here but have a problem with my 02 exscape with a 3 liter. It has 195000 kms on it and it started running rough at idle. I changed the fuel filter and new plugs and intake gaskets this did not help. I took it to the dealer and they checked it out and said it had no codes showing but # 3 coil was reading low . So I got a new coil and changed it no different then back to dealer and then they said #3 injector had a bad reading so I changed it no different. So back to the dealer and they checked for vacume leaks and found none checked EGR and it was working ok changed the Idle control sensor and checked the fuel preasure and that was ok compresion readings are all good as well they said. They are stumped They said it maybe the Mass air flow sensor so I got one of them and changed it and disconnected the battery for a day to clear the computer and then hooked it up again and it seem to work better and the rough idle was gone so I thought I has it fixed but after 4 days it is back doing what it was doing in the begining a real rough idle when cold. it seems to run a bit better when it warms up.

Anyone have any ideas of what too try next.

If the rough idle happens only when it is cold, checking the Air and Coolant temperature sensors would seem reasonable as they affect how the computer will ration fuel to the engine. It will increase fuel flow when cold to compensate for poorer fuel atomization when cold. You can use a VOM to read the sensors and compare that to the table values for a given temperature.

The question I have is if the only symptom is rough idle at cold.Apparently, the rough idle coninues even when the engine is warm, but less intense. How does the car feels in driving with engine warmed up?Do you sense some minor mishaps?
Have you tried the WOT test and see what the maximum revs achieved are?
