So I've got an 02 Xlt, I've been looking into a full upgrade on my Audio system, new speakers, HU, a sub, and was actually thinking of installing 2 new speakers. The 2 new speakers would go into the cargo door. Has anyone here dont this? And how difficult is this? I've done alot of sound system installs but nothing like that. So if anyone has some input or advice please let me know. Thanx. Jimmylinx

Why??

Are you trying to build a system for outdoor enjoyment? Or are you building something for inside the vehicle? If you are planning on the latter, I recommend you ditch any rear speaker notion. Build your front stage as strong as you can, and you'll get the right sound (with a sub to reinforce of course.)

I completely agree, maximum listening pleasure for the driver will come from a strong front stage, and well balanced sub. Now if you wanted to add speakers...I would say try adding a center channel in the center of the dash aimed up at the windsheild....that would be fun
