anything special I should know before installing, I know some cars have different wires to mess with and such, should the escape be a quick standard install? I know when I had a malibu before I had to buy some chime kit to work with the aftermarket cd player so i'm just making sure I have everything I need before I start the job

I always make sure I use a wiring harness adaptor - it saves so much time & hassle trying to figure out which wire does what. They're only about $15 or so.
