Hey gang,

I have a 2006 Escape XLT (new owner only had my Escape for a few months) which I replaced the facotry HU with a Clarion CZ509. When I purchased the HU from Crutchfield they included a Clarion 6 Disc CD Changer for free! Here is where I need some help:

1) Where is the best place to mont the CD Changer? My idea was to cut a piece of plywood to fit under the passanger seat. Spray paint it black, cover the bottom with black rubber cabinet liner, and mount the changer to the plywood. Face the CD slot towards the back room seats. I can then hide the cables in the side molding.

2) When I installed the Clarion HU I chiped the silver on the molding in 3 small places. What do you recommend to
touch this up?

Thanks for any help!
