I notice on my 09 Escape V6 that there is a slight roughness/vibration when idling in Drive after a cold start. If I shift into Neutral it goes away. Back into Drive and it comes back. After the vehicle warms up it seems to go away.

I don't know if this is really a problem and normally I'd just chock it up to cold but we aren't talking -20C. This is when it's anywhere between 0 - 10 degrees celsius. Plus it only seems to be happening when in gear.

Anyone else ever come across this?

Heh, I was afraid of that. The next trick will be reproducing the problem at the dealer since the car will be warm by the time I get out there. I'll have to see how much it needs to cool down before it starts again. Just got my Scangauge hooked up so that should make it a little easier.

Thanks
