Hi all,

today I bought a new gps unit and when I plugged it in the 12v outlet in the center console of my tribute, nothing happened. I then plugged it in the cigarette lighter, again nothing, so I tried the back 12v outlet and it worked.So I had a look at the fuse for the cigarette lighter and it was blown, I replaced it and then that outlet worked fine, but the 12v accessory outlet was still not working, I had a look but could see no fuse for just the 12v outlet, so what I am wondering is, is there a separate fuse for this outlet or could there be something wrong with my 12v accessory outlet? I think that fuse is in the battery junction box, the long black fuse box under the hood, parallel to the driver's side fender.

yeah that one as well as the rear power outlet are under the black fuse box next to the battery. I just had to t/s the same problem last week

Would the power point I'm looking at in the center console be considered "Auxiliary power point" in pwr 1? or pwr 2 in the fuse box? Thanks
