In my 03 Scape my 12 volt plug stopped working. I've changed out the fuses what else could it be? Thanks for the help.

Try using a multimeter to see if you have power to the socket. I'd start there.

Which fuse did you change, and which outlet is not working? The cigar lighter outlet has an inside fuse and the accessory outlet has a fuse under the hood.

Also, many 12 V accessories have their own fuse. You can unscrew the end of the plug; there should be a metal or plastic ring right below the "plunger" - unscrew that and there is usually a fuse.

2006 Ford Escape XLT. Hi. I just had my smart junction box replaced and am I correct in assuming the fuse for the in dash outlet (12v)? is in this box? I ask bcuz mine is not charging anything although whatever I plug into it will light up showing that there is some power. The lower cigarette lighter outlet works fine.

I realize I got it backwards as far as which outlet is 12v and which is cigarette lighter. Noob question, how do you replace cigarette lighter outlet? I was using it for years to charge cell phone, now it's not working.
