Well we had an 2002 Eddie Bower until the Mrs. modified the front end with a Nissan. Now we have a Durango which she hates and wants an explorer again. :bang:
I've got to say the propblem with the Explorer is it is too good -12 years old, but only has only 72,000 miles and is in pristine condition. I'd love to have a new Escape but can't justify changing a really good ride for payments.
My parents have a '97 V6 Explorer. It has 230,XXX miles on it. We JUST replaced the transmission, that was the only thing that has ever gone wrong with it. Beside the shit load of scratchs in it, the paint is almost perfect. I love that car, it just keeps on running.
i looked at the newer style explorers before i got my escape, and its not much bigger so i got the escape. my buddy had a late 90's 2dr 4x4 5sp and he was forever fixing it, but then again he does have bad luck when it comes to vehicles lol
