Still waiting to get more than a single sentence in FordPass for this, but as a part of it I already took it in for the PCM reprogramming, but now the new campaign seems specific, and on miles alone I am passed (it is 84000 miles/7 years, I am at 88088) but if it happens before 11/2022 then it is grand fathered in. no matter the years or miles.

I am sure it is similar to the previous supplements, as it is a short block for the 1.5, a one time repair.

I need to dig our my extended warranty and see how long it goes. Got me a little more nervous than I have been in the past on this issue.

My ‘17 needed basically it’s whole engine replaced last year at 95k miles because of this stupid coolant leaking issue. Ford literally wouldn’t fix it for any less than 7.5k but i had an independent shop do it for 6k. Never buying a Ford again after this ridiculous engine issue. They knew they had issues and they just don’t give a shit

I am not sure the process, but I think it states that if you paid to have it repaired already, there is a remediation process, not sure how that works with non dealer work being done, like was it replaced with a revised block or not.
