I get a better view of the tailgate window if I remove the three headrests for the back seat. The problem is where to store them. I didn't want to just leave the headrests at home because I may run into a situation where I have rear seat passengers. I would like them to have headrests for safety. Well, I found a place to put the headrests so they are not in my view and they are not just rolling around.

I know. It's nothing earth-shattering. But I thought I'd share in case someone else wants more rear view.

Nice tip. I actually posted something similar on my website a while back for my '02. I only have 2 rear headrests and they fit perfectly in the larger of the 2 cubbies in the cargo area:

However, my tip won't work if you have the MACH system because the subwoofer is there. Yours should work for all models :thumb:

Good idea Robert. I don't think that'll work on the 08 and later models at the cargo blind is different, and I don't remember seeing a ledge on the right side of our Tribute. I'll have to remember to check it out when I get home tonight.

I shall have to remove them one day as an experiment. You have given me an idea. :) It would be obvious ,that rear vision viewing area is enhanced. So henceforth you induced my inquisitive side.

A former radio tech acquaintance mentioned , that i enjoy nutting things out. The same attitude is applied to my occupation.
