Hey all,

I've been doing a bit of detailing lately now that my exams are over so I thought I'd share this one with you.
It was quite a challenge with deep scratches on every panel, swirl marks everywhere and mild oxidation.

I wasn't too happy with the results. I managed to remove all the swirls but some of the deeper scratches were left.
I didn't have a paint guage that day so I didn't know how thick the paint was and therefore how deep I could safely cut.

Sorry about the poor quality shots, I could only take pictures in my driveway.

Products used :

- Meguiars Gold Class car wash. Washed using the two bucket method.
- Meguiars Lambswool Wash Mit
- Meguiars G220 Dual Action Buffer
- Range of Pads
- Auto Glym Super Resin Polish
- Meguiars Mirror Glaze - Swirl Remover 2.0
- Meguiars Next Gen Tech Wax 2.0
- Final coat of Auto Glym - Extra Gloss Protection

Here is what I was up aginst...

A before and after, after just one pass with Meg's - Swirl Remover 2.0 and Auto Glym's - Super Resin Polish

A few shots after polishing - Without waxes applied

A few after shots with 2 layers of Next Gen Tech Wax 2.0 applied followed by one coat of Auto Glym - Extra Gloss Protection.
