I need a few different types of panel retainers in the Escape, but haven't had much luck in finding the right ones.

Here's a picture of the ones I need:


The first one on the left I found under the bottom trim piece in the rear door frames.
The second one is the dreaded door panel clip. I also need the white piece that this clip pushes in to.
The third one is on the kick panels.
The last one is on the front fender splash shield and connects it to the front bumper cover.

What stinks is that it seems like I'll have order a 25-pack of these things online just to replace one or two of them. Oh well...

Any help appreciated.

i do the same thing with the motorcycles, if i need 1 bolt i usually buy 2 or 3, but thats also cause they dont stock anything around here.

you could get them at pretty much any shop, UAP/NAPA, autoparts extra. just take those with you and see if you can buy 10 or so of each.

a buddy of mine wanted 6 plugs for his truck after drilling some holes to spray in rust proofing, and the smallest bag he could buy was 100 LoL. he still has the bag in his tool box.

I did try Autozone, but nothing they had was the right size--and they didn't have much. What they did have was mostly for GM and Chrysler and were similar, but very different sizes. Looking online, I can find a couple of sites that have tons of clips, but again I can't tell if they are quite the right ones or sizes.

There is an Advance Auto Parts a bit further from me, so I'll give them a shot. There might be a NAPA somewhere as well; I'll have to check online.

I could easily go through a whole box of door panel clips no problem.

Alrighty, for anyone else who may be looking for stuff like this, here's what I found:

The first and fourth fasteners (from the left) in the picture I was able to find at NAPA Auto Parts, so I was able to get that taken care of. You can also the black version of the third fastener--for interior trim panels--at NAPA.

For the second fastener (door panel clips) and the gray version of the third fastener, I had to go online. I ended up ordering these and they work just fine:
