Hey all new hear, I have a 2002 Ford Escape, it dosen't like to start on cold morning, and randomly stalls. The fuel pump was whining really loud the other morning. I thought it might be the fuel filter, and i still think it is, but there is this possibility that it might be the pump. Do you guys have any tips on what to look out for, or what it could be. I need to know asap because i need this fixed soon because its my DD, and my only vehicle.

do the fuel filter first, pretty easy and cheap replacement.

Check the battery for the starting problem. I had a similar problem a month ago. The battery solved it.
