Great car, roomy, comfortable, stylish, rare, reasonably economical in 2.0 guise, just that parts are a pain to obtain here!!!

You're not kidding about the parts!

When i had all the stereo gear nicked back in Nov. I had to do the usual ring around to get the rear glass replaced. Most places didn't have any, but RAC Windscreens said they could get the glass and have it repaired the following day.

I took the Mav down to their depot in Charlton and left it there. I got a call late the following day saying that the suppliers had sent the glass for the previous generation Maverick  So they would rectify the situation and contact me the following day.

Turns out the supplier had wrongly catalogued all the rear glass stock for '01- model years, and they didn't have any of the '01- rear glass. :bang:

In the end RAC Windscreens had to go to Ford for the part, so what should have been a day to sort it out, turned into 5 days.

You'd be amazed at how many people have never seen a Mk3 Maverick.
