WINDSHIELD WASHER INOPERATIVE - HOSE
DISCONNECTED
FORD:
2006 Escape
ISSUE
Some 2006 Escapes built from 8/1/2005 through 9/30/2005 may exhibit an inoperative windshield washer and/or windshield washer fluid leaks when activated. This is most likely due to a washer hose that has become disconnected.
ACTION
Replace the hose if it has become disconnected. The suspect hose is located just above the right (passenger) side front fender splash shield. To replace the hose, remove the right side inner fender splash shield following Workshop Manual Section 501-02.
