Removal and Installation

1) Remove the 2 wiper pivot arms nuts.
* To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).

2) Remove the LH and RH wiper pivot arms.

3) Remove the LH and RH cowl end cap pushpin retainers.

4) Remove the cowl end caps.

5) Release the cowl panel grille from the retaining clips and remove the cowl panel grille.

6) To install, reverse the removal procedure.
* Adjust the wiper pivot arms.

you guys are just going to tempt me until i rip the windshield cowl off my car, aren't you! :D

That depends. Is there anything else that you want to take apart? I have all of the diagrams.

Well, so far I've only had the door panels off, the center stack apart and the rear cargo area dismantled. I don't count removing the spare tire. So I really haven't done anything dramatic yet!

how do you remove the airbag cover on the passenger side dash?? i noticed a rattle coming from that area im afraid i might trigger a sensor or something????
