I've changed blades on all sorts of vehicles, but this one has me stumped. My wife has a 2008 Limited, and needs new blades. I bought Rainx Laditudes.

The 2008 has some sort of squeeze clip attached to the blade that you unlock, slide forward, then pivot out of the arm. I'm used to the typical "J" style arms. How do you put new blades on these arms? I've never seen an adapter in a wiper blade kit that would fit this type of arm.

Seems I bought the wrong blades. RainX has a "version 2" of the Latitude that should fit the 2008+ Escape. The attachment is either called Insert & Lock (I&L) or Push Tab Button (PTB).
