I need to change my spark plugs, but cant seem a walkthrough for the 2008 v6 anywhere in this site. Of course ive changed plugs before in other vehicles, but my unerstanding is that there is some tricks to getting the back 3 on these bad boys. Cant seem to find a repair manual either not in my local auto parts stores nor online.

I haven't changed the plugs on mine but I did finally find a repair manual.I purchased it from partstrain.com it's 2001 to 2009, supposed to be here on the 9th if you can wait I can scan that and send it to you via personal email.

Ah, thanks a lot! I actually did see that
manual online but im not too conviced since it says 2001-2009. Sinnce the 08 was significantly changed, i dont see a reason why they would cram all of it in one manual.

Haynes is a pretty reliable manual and most changes were exterior body. If you look up the different Escape generations the platform stayed the same. Either way i'll let you know.

thats kind of disappointing that ford basically changed the body and kept everything the same. But then again, it says a lot, after all the minor bugs are worked out, the escape seems like a pretty reliable suv. So why re-invent the wheel?

Parts train sent me an old manual about Ford Automatic Transmissions....Then they told me they were out of the book I originally ordered....I was pretty excited to receive the other book but such is life.

I think it is the same for the 2005/2006.

You have to remove the intake manifold to get at the back 3. Here is a video
