Anyone know how to remove the front wiper arms?

Welcome to E-C!

On 2008 and newer E/M/Ts, hold the wiper arm while removing the nut on the pivot. The arm will pull straight off of the pivot.

Thanks for the info! Wasn't sure whether I'd need a special tool, etc. (busted a windshield years ago trying to take them off "wrongly")

Ouch! You shouldn't need anything other than a socket wrench this time around!

I tried to get one off last time at the salvage yard. Isn't there a pitman arm puller that helps with this?

Solved: I got this tool from amazon. Works great. Once I run out of leverage, I used a screw driver with a hold in the end to apply additional torque. They popped off just after that. I tested it at a junk yard, a couple of times. When I ran out of leverage, I would back it off and try again. Some times a few gental wacks with a rubber mallet helped convince it off.
