Welcome to E-C! You're our 200th member, and you're our second 2009 owner!

This thread shows you the C240C subwoofer connector on the back of the factory head unit:

I have all of the wiring diagrams for the 2009 Escape, so let me know if you need anything else!

Mine is an 08 in the same exterior color. I have the lighter interior color. I just love your dark interior. I bet that it is soo much easier to keep clean than mine. I do not have ambient lighting, and would sure like to see pics of that if you get a chance. Sounds very nice. :)

So I have a Red wire, Black wire, White wire, and green wire going to the sub. Can someone tell me which 2 are for the speaker that I can cut into? To hook in a new sub. I'm thinking that the Amp may be enough to power a better 8"sub. Enclosure seems pretty decent.

The only mention of the connections from the factory subwoofer amp to the subwoofer are shown here. The wire colors for the four wires (2 "Output +" and 2 "Output -") aren't defined in the diagram, since I think it's sold as an assembly:



Do you see markings on the subwoofer, such as "+"?
