2009 Escape sub swap out

I have a 2009 Escape and I wanna swap out the sub for a better one. Anyone tried this? Or should I just wire in a new amp and sub.

Here's a few pics of my 2009 Escape Limited. Only had a day to play with it then had to go to work for 2 weeks.:(

Yeah. The color is "Black Pearl" All leather black interior. She's a sweet ride:) I'll take a couple nite pics when I get out of camp. The ambient lights are too sweet!

So I have a Red wire, Black wire, White wire, and green wire going to the sub. Can someone tell me which 2 are for the speaker that I can cut into? To hook in a new sub. I'm thinking that the Amp may be enough to power a better 8"sub. Enclosure seems pretty decent.
