I understand what you are trying to do. If only it as simple as plugging in an upgraded radio head and life would be good. It's not that simple. A lot of research, time and money.

First, you need to identify the level of entertainment system currently installed, with all its subsystems. Next, wiring a diagram and with all the connector views.

Then you'll need a wiring diagram of the new radio head and it's subsystems. Will you have all the necessary wiring and connectors in the vehicle for the upgrade? Most likely, not.

Pull the current radio and post the part #. Better to take some pictures of the radio label and faceplate. Post some pictures of the radio connectors. Post some pictures of the radio you wish to upgrade to.

Do you currently have a factory Amp? Subwoofer? Navigation?

I posted 2 diagrams. One is the basic system, and the other is a factory higher end system. See the difference in the subsystems in order to make it work.

Might be slightly more possible if you are starting with the 7 speaker with subwoofer.

The last map updates were from 2019, and no more updates will be published.

I don't know anyone that doesn't have a smart phone that is either an Android or an iPhone. A fairly cheap double-din head unit that does Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, along with the faceplate and adapter (not a simple 8 wire thing, but one with logic) would still be fairly cheap and much better than the voice navigation setup for your 2010.

Looking at the connectors between both radios, I'm surprised the new radio works at all. As far as volume, you may need to change the "As-Built" for the new radio using www.forscan.org.

You'll need to find a VIN for the new radio head, which would have been installed in a vehicle.

Read the forums @ forscan before doing anything. Search keywords, radio, Sync, upgrade, volume, etc

If you have researched, read and understand how As-Built works, always back up the current configuration and take a picture of the current As-Built before making changes.
