This is not mine, but I just ordered an 2010 Escape XLT (FWD 4cly.) in this color and snapped these while participating in a car show at a dealership. I was suprised to see it there. Since this is a new color, I had trouble finding what it would look like, so thought I'd post up for those that are interested in seeing one. We've had a 1999 Expedition in Wedgewood Blue, which I loved and had upgraded to a 2003 Expedition now that has been good, but miss the 1999 Expy. When my daughter say these pics, it immeditately reminded her of the '99 expy. Hope you like!

You can see two of the 2010 model's newest features in the second picture:

1) Blind-spot mirrors are Ford exclusives, at least for 2010. These aren't tacked-on aftermarket parts, either -- they're integrated into the mirror glass.

2) The electric liftgate release control is now inside a new recess under the license plate, instead of under the upper license plate trim plate (where the electric glass release control is still located).

Nice color, congrats on your order, and welcome to E-C!

Thanks guys. Excellent pickup on those two items jpark. I remember reading about the blindspot mirrors, but forgot about them being there and as well also one of the first add-on items I add to all my cars is sticking on the blindspot mirrors. I didn't know about the release button location move and probably wouldn't have found it for a while. :thumb:

Well, Ford is three for three on the 2010 Escape. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I like the new color, the new latch/handle location, and the blind spot mirrors. The latter I would prefer to add myself, with my ideal location on the original mirror. But at least this saves me the time and trouble to buy and mount them.

Bah, blind spot mirrors.

I can never see properly in that tiny distorted view, so it just takes space away from the real mirrors. Plus I don't even have blind spots.
