2011 Escape running boards?

anyone know if they are painted to make body or just standard grey plastic finish? looking to possible add them only if they are painted though.

On the Escape, the standard rocker panels and the optional step bars/running boards are not paint-to-match parts.

The only paint-to-match factory parts are the Mariner's standard rocker panels, and the rocker panels on Escapes with the Sport Appearance Package, but they're only rocker panels, not step bars.
