I have an issue or not sure if it is, but my 2012 ford escape xlt 2.5l with 74k miles, is shifting rough a bit of a jerk when going from 1st to 2nd gear only, the rest of the other gears are very smooth. i have changed the trans fluid with mercon lv. i am not sure if it was ever changed but it was a bit dark red. and it still doing it. this is a failing trans? or maybe i need to drain and fill again?
