Hi Everyone,

I I am interested in a 2012 Ford escape. I drove down to the dealership to check it out and they were just finishing up the oil change and said it would be ready in a few minutes. When they did a test drive he said the vehicle stopped running all of a sudden. So I waited there a couple more hours while they were diagnosing the problem, they said the PCM needs to be replaced. Does this sound right? Is this a common issue? Does the PCM have to be programmed to fit the vehicle?
