2015 Escape ac not cooling

Son’s ac not working. I added some freon a month or so ago, but it will not take any now. On other vehicles I’ve bypassed the low pressure switch to get the system to charge. Can that be done on this vehicle?

welcome to the city, CF
my friend, if you're adding Freon there is usually a leak. I would suggest further diagnosis rather than just pumping in more r134 a.

if I remember right from other posts, these new systems take higher pressure than what is available in the aerosol can recharge kits.

I am guessing you have already visually checked for engagement of the compressor clutch?
A 2015 Escape doesn't have a low-pressure switch.

Yeah, start there.
There is a leak you must find the leak and fix it first.
