I want to see if there is more head room than the Gen 3 (2013 - 2016 model years) had. The head room is why I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee instead of the Gen 4 Escape.

According to Edmonds, the current '22 model has .1" more headroom vs the '16 (40" vs 39.9") so I doubt the 23 would be any more than that. I sat in the current gen Escape when it first came out. I didn't have an issue with headroom. Shoulder room was a little tight but not bad. I just wasn't a fan of the interior materials. It really did seem very cheap to me. That's where I hope they improve the Escape. But, if I was looking for a compact SUV, I'd rather have the Bronco Sport. It just looks a lot better to me.
