I did see one guy on there with 24's, and he confirmed that they rubbed in the wheel well when I emailed him about it. Since then I guess he totaled his Escape according to his page.

either 22s with super THIN rubber or 20s with a nice meaty tire on it will work without rubbing. 24s will rub. i called a wheel distributor of mine and asked.

20's are as big as I'd ever go on an Escape...roads in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario would absolutely destroy the chasis and suspension with small profile tires. Heck, my truck with the stock 16's is already wearing out some of it's front end components with only 55,000+ km's on it...

I recently just purchased a 2006 escape xlt and my tire and wheel shop that i have been dealing with for years said they could get 24's on my truck with no rubbing or having to cut the wheel wells, but they said my tires would HAVE to be 25 series which comes out to be about a 2 inch side wall!!!! unless you have super smooth roads everywhere you drive i wouldnt go that big. They recommended going with 22's and a 35 series tire. that would give you extra coushin and about a 3.7 inch side wall.

buddy b4 u go with any combo like that i think u might find 25 series rubber will only give u about 1 inch of massively comfortable side wall lol.

im running 265/50/20 these days which are all good

if u happen to go 24s make sure u posta few pics

thanks bro

Just M.H.O... The 20's on EscapedTroy's Escape look good. A nice balance of rubber & metal. Anything bigger just looks odd...
