Doing a search reveals a lot of dead links and old info for someone who wants to get more power out of the 3.0 V6. I’m in the planning stages of a project, it looks like there’s a whole lot more available to crank up the 2.5 but the 3.0 has a 70hp head start, and the 2.5 is a better layout for off-road abuse.

I’d like to get to 280-300 hp. There’s the SCT tuner, or MPPS for that matter, but where to source maps? MSDS has headers but the opinion is they seem to sound ricey. Cams seem to be a custom order affair and horribly expensive. Noble used this engine and made stupid power with it, I find it hard to believe that nearly nothing is available for the 3.0.
The 2.5 on the other hand has bolt-on everything you could want…

Early on in the history of this forum (we started in February, 2008), there were several folks who used SCT tumes.

If at all possible you could start with headers/cats and a Gibson exhaust for the 3.0. Plus get a tune, the SCT X4 is on Amazon for $250 or so.
On eBay look for the Magnaflow Cats for the Escape, at least that’s where I got my set ($120 front, $140 rear).
There WAS a bolt on turbocharger for the Escape way back in the day. Forget the company that produced them but I think a search for SVT Escape on YouTube may lead you there.

This is old school, swap motors.
See if you can swap heads… There are many ways to get around the situation you are running into.

Just a thought before you build a vehicle up to that kind of horsepower, without adapting the entire drivetrain/axles you're gonna wind up with a boat anchor.

You can stick a nitrous bottle on
lol
Sorry, just kidding
I hope you keep us updated with your build
