I thought I would share a few photo's of my Girlfriend's Mom's Ford Falcon XR6. I gave it a clean today and took a few shots...

Stupid Macro Setting

Well it's got an 190kw (260HP) 4.0L engine, mated with a 6 speed auto.

It is a dream to drive :)

Exactly on both counts!

And it's always good to score a few extra points with the girlfriend's mom.

Nice car. They could do with bringing something like that over here, as the Mondeo is now the largest saloon Ford offer in the U.K, since it ceased production or the Scorpio some years back.

Looks like the same color as my wife's Escort Sport. On the Escort back in 98, they called that color Atlantic Blue. It has held up well too! Do you happen to know what Ford named it there?

Don't forget that Ford makes more US built Ranger pickup trucks than BMW does across it's entire lineup all year long.

Nice looking car there Tribby!!! But here in the States, the last Falcon I saw. Was a 1962 model and that was at the Woodward Dream Cruise. Just use Google. Type in "Woodward Dream Cruise" all kinds of stuff there. You-Tube, History about, etc. I think you'll enjoy it. :topic: But Y'all do get better equipped vehicles to drive than we do.............. PK

I know this is an old post but I like that car, I wish I had the money to get one or just to drive one
Well if you're ever out in Australia, come and take mine for a burn :thumb:

I fell in love with driving the blue one pictured so I saved up and finally got one.
Falcons here are as common as Crown Victorias over there, they cost about the same as a 2003 Escape.
