Has anybody tried their active park assist yet? If so, how does it work? I am a little nervous to try it out.
You control the gas and brake. So if there is a collision, it is your fault. Just because the car is controlling the steering doesn't mean you can take a nap and wake up when the car is parked. You still have the ability to override all the controls. How does this work if there is a collision? "Honestly officer, the truck did this on it's own. Not my fault!"
It's pretty cheap, that's why I got it. Also, I am not good at parallel parking so I let my wife do it. I know, I know.jonas1022 said:I don't know how it works, but we do have electric steering assist and brakes (?). Why not for $395. Even my wife could park the car then... :hyst:
