Anyone have experience with ebay/amazon/rock auto converters? My 2002 V6 is in the shop needing to replace the converters off the manifolds and I can't swing the cost of OEM. I saw a couple of reviews with fitment and opening size concerns on Amazon, so I thought I'd see if anyone here has swapped their converters and has recommendations on replacements.

Thanks.

Sorry this is such a late reply, karmint. Welcome to the city.
have you looked at local salvage yards… What did you end up doing?
I realize you did not get the answers you were looking for, but if you have some you could pass along it would be appreciated. ( :

fyi- You can look at the fittings/openings measurements on an OEM, then compare it to what you're seeing on the aftermarket sites. If they do not have that information posted, contact them, they will.
eBay has purchase guarantees, I would only go with a seller who guarantees fitment, or gives you your money back/covers return shipping.

There should be no problem with AP and Walker - they are the quality aftermarket lines that have been around forever. They are still costly on Rockauto but must be cheaper than the auto parts stores and of course FORD OE.
How much were the OEM ones? There are some online Ford parts outfits - some claim 45% discount.
