I purchased a 2009 xlt with cloth interior but i want the ambient lighting. but i dont have the leather package... dose anyone know if you can buy the ambient lighting serperate or do i just have to buy my own leds and do some custom work?

are you referring to the lighting on the console? If so I asked the dealer about this and that top tray peice with the cup holders built in it and with the LED lighting is Over $600.00 in Canada. CRAZY I know.

You would be better off doing your own lighting.

yeah i believe so on their website it shows in by your feet also i figured i would have to do it myself i was just trying to take the lazy way out because free time dosnt come often to me

Or you can see if you can find a Limited or Premier in a Junkyard and purchase the parts used.
