I was rooting for Mickey Rourke to win Best Actor and thought it was really nice of Sean Penn to acknowledge him when he (Sean) won! And yay for Heath Ledger!!!!!
Glad Kate Winslet got the Oscar for Best Actress. She's totally awesome! And though I was rooting for Anne Hathaway, I was happy for Penelope Cruz for Best Supporting Actress.
I thought Hugh Jackman did a great job hosting the awards!!
Watched almost the entire show......knew Slumdog would win Best Picture so went to bed after Sean Penn's acceptance speech.

I was watching the NCIS marathon on another channel. My wife came into the room at 7:30 wanting to watch the Award show, so guess what we did???

If you thought that I changed channels right away you would be mistaken. :bill:

I did watch the balance of the program starting after the first half hour. NCIS had finished... :taz:
