Figured i would start a thread so everyone can share their april fools stories.
here's mine from last year
i had been dating this girl Mariah, unofficially, for a couple months. i had met her through my best friend who had dated her a couple years back. Everything was going fine then on april fools she sent me a text message. It told me that she had had sex with kyle in the past, and then again the week before. now, this was completely opposite to her previously telling me she never did so. i immediately called kyle and asked him about it, and he said she was lying to me. i had forgotten it was april fools and asked her three times to admit she was making a really bad joke and to come clean... i said" seriously, tell me now if your kidding.... this is your last chance".... She still told me the same thing. so i sent her a 10 page long text message(longer than any essay i have ever written) about how much of a lying, cheating whore she was and how i didnt care what ever happened to her and basically told her how worthless she is to everyone in the world.... etc etc. seriously, it was the meanest thing i've ever done to anyone. she then proceeded to text me back saying it was an april fools joke.... i dropped my phone and sat on the back of the couch for literally like 10 minutes with a shocked, blank expressions of"wow... that just happened". i then came-back-to and decided that was the funniest joke anybody has ever played on me. i texted her saying this and she was less than happy. well, she told me she couldnt believe i just said all that stuff to her and wanted to never talk to me again. i told her that wasnt fair because i gave her plenty of warnings to come clean, but she wouldnt have any of it. she didnt talk to me for over 6 months after that, and now we look back at it and laugh.
to this day, i dont regret what i did, and dont see myself to blame,but some of the stuff i said in that text, i cant even believe myself. totally unneccessary. and i really wish i had saved that text message to share with everyone else
