Hello escapedtroy, Latan and Tribby. So it appears ford got " FIRST" position as in they won the ' Bathurst' touring cars event. WOO HOO! HOORAY! HA HA HA HA!  :hyst:

I hope those holden enthusiasts did not have too much of a cry. Sometimes i enjoy being cruel to the opposition. Anyway the holden team had a good run for a long time. Now it is fords turn to experience the glory.

Yes - it was a great result Stone. :yahoo:

Didn't watch it all, only the start and last hour. I'm an old DJR supported - they did ok.

Have you ever been to Bathurst (the race)? I went many years ago when Moffat was driving the RX7.

--2007 Ford Falcon?
I thought they were phased out long time ago.
My Mom & Dad had one back in the 60's. It was a fancy one with all these
speeds on the floor. After my Dad got sick with cancer in '76', he didn't drive anymore & it sat in the yard. It wasn't in A-one condition at that point since
they lived on the seashore and the salt air took it's toll.
When he passed in '77', as Executor of his estate I got rid of it, I think I gave it to
either a junkyard or local mechanic, can't remember. Anyhow, later, I found out that it ended up with a collector who restored it. Dumb me, I didn't know it was a limited edition.
