Ford has noted recently that production of their well-regarded Fusion Hybrid will likely be affected by problems with getting enough NiMH battery packs from supplier Sanyo.

These are the same batteries used in the Escape / Mariner / Tribute Hybrids and we may see a decline in production of those vehicles if interest in the Fusion Hybrid is strong as predicted.

I'll still have a Fusion Hybrid and an Escape Hybrid in our garage in less than two years.

I don't know that I will do it in two years, but I am sure we might have a Fusion Hybrid in the driveway.
