Shes just out of the body shop as of 2 weeks ago. Finally gave her a wash. This is my daily driver, 01 Pontiac Grand AM SE1.

My old roommate hit some highway debris with his Grand Am and I had to do an emergency radiator and radiator mount replacement in the driveway. None of the junkyards would even believe me when I asked for the fibreglass radiator mount.

"No way, that's just an air dam."
"No, it holds up the radiator" *points to where the cups are for the bottom of the rad*
"Naw, that's stupid. No way that's strong enough. Hey Dave, guess what this guy thinks is a radiator mount!"

I think I'd have the same reaction without seeing it for myself. That fibreglass piece has a noticeable sag under the weight of the radiator. There's weight savings, but come on! :lol:
