So I have these two videos of my Escape going through 18"+ of snow. In the first video you can see the snow is higher than the foglights. In the second video you can see path of snow that I snowblowed out of my driveway. You can see the 4wd kick in as I went down the driveway. Halfway down I had to back up a few inches and put it back in drive because the snow was up to my hood. Please don't mind the beeping and music my video phone was somehow connected to the bluetooth on my Pioneer avicf90bt headunit.

This just proves Escapes are very capable SUVs.

Being in Canada you'd think my `09 would have seen the big snow by now..but nope...every other year we'd have drifts over my head at the sides of the driveway..not this year..I can still see grass :(
I really enjoyed your video...I wondered what happens when the AWD kicks in ..was that a deep throaty rumble I heard just after you put back in drive? Is that how I'll know it's kicked in? Or do I just watch the gas gauge drop :)

Looks like fun! I'm sure it's not 'cause you have to deal with it all winter.

Not too bad this winter. Last winter was worse foot of snow each week from Dec-Jan. I didn't have anywhere to put it all lol.

Great video.

It does seem like all the major snow storms are traveling thorugh the mid-south region of the States and heading up the East coast. Most of the lower region of the snow belt has nary a sliver of snow on the ground while the areas that typically get the cold rain are dealing with 12"+ storms.

:bang:

At least I won't have to turn the snow blower in for repair this winter... I've only used it once.

hehe! I can tell that it's a real fun to play in snow with that big toy!!!

two year ago, we got a record of all time with 550 cm of snow in one season that about 18 feet of snow  !!!

this year tought, it like a record of all time of non-snow :boring: ... not sure if we got 80 cm yet and winter is near to ending..

4wd is a must in here...
