Which color rims do you think goes well with a black on black 05 escape? I'm leaning towards all black rims, i've also seen rims that were black with chrome lip, etc etc. I've also considered powdercoating the stock rims? Whats everybody's opinions on this? Thanks!!!

First of all, welcome to the City. With respect to your question, I think the all black look looks really neat!!!

But you can't go wrong with the black with chrome lip as well.

if i could i would get black, or black with chrome for mine, and then get the plastic cladding done in black as well lol.

thanks for the replies, I saw the below rims on ebay and was contemplating them. But I am not sure if I like the chrome lip deal. I think all black look better!

all black thin 5 spoke flat looks like it melts into the tyre

From a fellow Black Escape owner...go with the black. The powder coating will give you more flat of a color, if you want a more shiney rim I would buy some black rims...

Go for black spokes/centre with a silver rim.

as u can see im a fan of Black rims so either all black or black with the chrome lip

Give me the chrome rim to define the rim and tire. It is also less like a black hole to the onlookers. Especially good if for low profile tires, as it does define just how low a profile your tire is. You paid good money for the low profile, why not show it off...? :bill:
