I just bought some 18" wheels from a Ford edge. They don't have the TMPS sensors installed. My escape doesn't have the "Tire Pressure Monitoring System." Will I need the sensors installed to correctly balance the wheels?

The balancing weights should take care of that. I'm not familiar with the TPMS equipment installed on the wheel, but I'm assuming it doesn't weigh much, it would have to weigh a bit to throw off balance more than weights compensate for.

I figured that would be the case. i guess they would just use the sticky weights on the inside of the wheel.

Do the wheels you bought come with the TMPS already in the tire and rim? But you dont need it , as the sensors are removable

I don't have the sensors. but I don't think I'll need them.
