The last 8 of my VIN are 6KA53*** and although my service invoices from the dealer never show the build date they show the in service date as September 15, 2005. How early do they start production for the next model year? I can't see the build date bieng too far before September of the previous year.
Build date
A number of posts here refer to the build dates of the vehicles. Is there a way to know the build date of my Escape or is this something I might have asked the dealer?
