Hey Guys, I searched but couldn't find, what is involved in swapping a 2001 bumper for a 2005 bumper other than just removing bolts? Is it just a straight swap or is there more involved? My fiancee backed into mine with her sunfire and lookin' to upgrade. Thanks very much.

I believe the Gen2 headlights are similarly shaped to the Gen1 lights, and since nothing else is dramatically different, I doubt you will have problems installing a Gen2 bumper onto a Gen1 bumper.

Good question,

I went through same research, and with swap, you have to realize the fog lights are different, so you need new lights, and the grille is not interchangable, different size, but these are rather inexpensive, so not a big deal. I simply changed my grille to billit instead of going with new stock. Good luck.
