Hmm.. buyer beware will be the topic of discussion...

i was playing around on ebay today and i ran across these

now, to someone unsuspecting, they may purchase these under the impression they are recieving real xenon HID bulbs. because thats what it says. in fact, they are just common halogen blue lense replacements which will not produce any more lumens than what comes stock in your vehicle. a real HID bulb will be in the range of $60-120. depending on the seller and will also require a ballast to power the bulbs.

this is what a real HID bulb looks like.

so in conclusion, be careful what you buy in ebay. make sure what you're buying is exactly what you want. and if you think something doesnt sound right, ask the seller. if you dont get the response you're looking for, dont buy it. i actually emailed the seller about those bulbs and the validity of the wording they used to describe the bulbs. i'll post the response if i ever get one. k, i'm done.

You're right, Weezy. You really need to look at auction descriptions closely. Thanks for catching that one.

BTW, the seller just changed the image for those bulbs. I wonder how many people were misled by the original pics.

If you look in the listing you will see that the seller states they are halogen bulbs...but the title says something different. That's why I reported him

It is sad when someone is trying to screw someone else just to make a buck. To someone without that knowledge they would think they are buying HIDs.
