Yep, finally done the deed and resigned my job as a coach driver.......

Having been demoted to airport car park shuttle bus driver, I've used the opportunity to seek out a new employer, and have been successful in getting a job at the airport itself, means more money and better hours for me

Start there next week, after serving my notice at the coach company

Wow, thanks for all the replies :thumb:

Yep, really looking forward to the new job, despite the fact that I have got to sit a couple of exams, to award me an airside driving licence (  ), ah well.....

Like the video, but thankfully I've never been in a skid whilst driving a coach on the road, but a few years ago I did manage to get on the London Transport skid pan, :woohoo: , god that was fun, handbrake turns in a Routemaster

Good luck with the new job.

I remember getting a go on the South Wales Police skid pan in an Austin Westminster with bald tires.... Great fun, but that was the 60's.

One thing I suspect you are going to have to explain "Routemaster" to our friends over the pond.

cheers

Taff
