Hey,

I'm new to the forum and just got a 2008 Escape XLT V6 AWD.

This may be a silly question but I'm dumbstruck.
The vehicle came with an aftermarket single din Pioneer radio and the top display which should have the clock on it only says "Ford Escape" all the time. Is this because the programing for the display is in the stock radio unit?

Loving the car so far!

Any help is greatly appreciated! If it is the radio then I'm tempted to go back to the stock head unit and use an aux cord.
