C.S. is a great party town you should have no problem finding a good place to stay.

Please welcome him home for us and give him our thanks for a great job done in Iraq

We have family in Denver and take a trip down to C.S. everytime. Not sure about hotels really. Most of the chains are well represtented. We always do like a Residence Inn or the like. Make sure you get one that has the complimentary continental breakfast for sure, oh and make sure JP is not with 100 miles. :D

You must do Garden of the Gods while you're there and Pikes Peak. The Peak is kind of a rip because of the 25mph speed limit going up, but worth it.

Thanks to your brother for all he does for this country. :thumb:

I stayed at the Radisson, near the CS airport, several years ago. It was a pretty decent hotel. There's not a lot to do right around the hotel, but several good restaurants are only about 10 minutes away.

If you have any extra time, take the Pike's Peak Cog Railway to the top of Pike's Peak. It's about 10 miles from the airport. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Only until we got to the top did my brother in law tell us of the Cog Rail. :wall: We would have enjoyed that much more I think.

Did he also tell you that it may be about 40-50 degrees colder at the top?

:frozen:

At least there's a large, heated gift shop up there---with food!!!
