AEM Brute Force filter. Even came with a clamp, though I didn't need it.

Bought a bunch of Reflectix to see how it would go. Rolls are cheap.
First picture is an idea I found off an RV site. Second is what I did to my intake box.
Third and fourth are readings with stock filter and no Reflectix. Fifth and sixth are with AEM filter and Reflectix.

Interesting, but I'm not sure what advantages the Reflectix is in your intake box, can you elaborate?

I didn't want to think Reflectix inside the box would do anything, but as the RV site pointed out, it doesn't just keep warm areas warm - it keeps cool areas cool. It's an insulator AND a shield.
It still kind of goes against my basic understanding, but I'm going to take more readings.

I think the rear bumper guard CAN line up.
So, the only option on the E/M/T that prevents use of a RBG is the 1/2 inch receiver that: 1) doubles as a bumper and 2) uses the bumper cover cutout.
If you have NO hitch, OR have the full size hitch, you can mount a RBG.

I had my "modded" rear bumper guard (RBG) mounts sanded back to factory.
Turns out, and as I suspected, I CAN mount an RBG with a full sized hitch.
So, here is what I've discovered as far as mounting the RBG.
CAN MOUNT:
Any combination of hitch and exhaust.
No hitch.
Full sized hitch (hangs below the bumper cover).
Stock exhaust.
Magnaflow exhaust.
CANNOT MOUNT:
1/2 hitch (uses the bumper cover cutout). It doubles as a bumper so uses the same mount points as the RBG mounts.
Gibson exhaust. Piping interferes with the mounts.

When we divested our C130 aircraft at my unit, I took one of the seat back bags.
Seems to "fit".

Here's a better explanation of why the different exhausts work.
This is the Gibson. The hanger secures the piping inboard, taking up the room needed for the RBG.
The Magnaflow, on the other hand, directs the piping outboard, freeing up room for the RBG mounts.

I have the RBG, and wanted to get to work.
I was a bit nervous about the side hooking up by the exhaust, but it seemed to be OK.
Then I wisely used some jack stands. It's not necessarily heavy at 30 lbs, but it's large and awkward (insert "that's what she said jokes").
She ended hooking up - mostly - and as I suspected, cleared the Class III hitch.
It's busy back end, with H&R lift springs, KONI shocks, Class III hitch, Magnaflow exhaust, and a TrailFX rear bumper guard.

Well that didn't go as planned.
When I was reinstalling my rear bumper guard, the bolt plate went BACK into the frame. I'll need to order a new one from TrailFX.

"You gotta take off the grille guard".
Pffffft.
Also the first gen recovery point is held on by a single bolt, because nothing else had nuts and I torqued off the other one.

Won't be my first choice for a recovery point, but since I don't really have any others for the front...

Not too bad for a side project. Used plasti-dip to correct overspray.
Wish I had remembered / paid attention to the fact ARB makes red diff covers. Would have picked a different color.

So I guess I'll need a basket BEFORE I install the limb raisers.
Also, dog.

I finally put the fitted CoverKing car cover on.
Even with the grille guard and roof rack crossbars on, it fit like a glove.
Kind of wish CoverKing wasn't plastered on it to let people of dubious nature know its fairly high quality, but this is on base so I feel a little more secure. Would recommend for any vehicle you plan on keeping.

Put yellow Lamin-X on the fogs. Hopefully it works out.
