Hello, I need to replace the Cylinder Head Temp Sensor, (8S4Z-6G004-A) Ford Escape 2011. But the original part on the SUV is golden platted, I bought "OEM" from a 3rd party store and the part is silver platted, they told me theis is OEM. How can I know if the part is OEM and the change of color platted is normal?

My search on eBay, says silver is the real McCoy.

I just replaced the one on my 2010. Old one was brass colored new one was silver. Same part number as you show. WORKS.
